Life Partners Become Business Partners

Let me take you back to July 2010. My husband Mark and I just had our 2nd baby girl in June and we were loving life as new parents. Just loving our baby girls and feeling super grateful that we were blessed with having them10342457_10153077940013647_3871929865435265319_n in our lives. These gifts we were given were the BEST EVER!

We had our little family of 4, owned our own home, had a dog and were living the life, but not everything felt right. We were struggling financially, we were overweight, we were arguing more than usual over MONEY! I believe that is the # 1 reason of divorces right? Money is STRESSFUL! We had to make a change.

Long story short, I found an MLM to begin working from home. With no job and no money, we took the plunge and signed up with what we could afford (well, not afford) and just went for it! Now, I had worked another MLM for 8 years with only a little success, so to say my husband Mark was NERVOUS was an understatement. His exact words may have been “Oh no, here we go again.” See, he went through those years listening to me complain, watching me do home parties where no one would show up or place orders, wasted our time, money, and energy on so many occasions, but I believed in the MLM idea and knew it could work. This 2nd one DID and I believe it was all due to having PASSION for the company, the products, and the mission statement of this new company. 6 months in, I earned my first vacation and Mark said “o.k. this one seems legit”

At that time, Mark worked at the family auto body shop as manager/painter/bookkeeper and more. He was working 40+ hours/wk, for about $40k/year, and had been working this job since he was 16, so we figured this is what he was just meant to do forever.

Over the years the MLM was kind of MY thing. Mark would support me and ask if he could help with anything, but just viewed it as MY business. He began coming to events, of course going on each trip, we haven’t missed one yet, and hearing other people talk about the company, other husbands in particular. Slowly, he really began getting on board and wanting to be more involved.

Here is where things REALLY started to change……
